In the former Backstreet Billiards on Putnam Street across from the Library parking lot, Jonathan Albert and Tiffany Scaringe have opened Putnam Den, a mid sized music venue and bar with a lounge vibe.
Tonight, July 10th, Mirk and The New Familiars as well as Timbre Coup will be playing for the Grand Opening.
Putnam Den also pays homage to Saratoga history with a wall mural of the nineteenth century Grand Union Hotel by Albany artist Samson Contompasis. Putnam Den offers 10 beers on tap, speciality cocktails and more, serves Esperanto’s food til 4am, has nine bathrooms and an outdoor patio to come.
